Audio Visual
An Exciting Medium with Endless Possibilities.
ESPIC DIGITAL MEDIA.
Digital Presentations Page.
As I mentioned previously, last year I got hooked on Audio-Visual presentation using a Digital Projector and a well-known software programme, which is becoming a standard in photography circles, “Pictures To Exe”. I have produced a number of shows, lasting from 15 to 54 minutes, and containing from 50 to over 300 slides. A pleasing and fitting sound track is added to the presentations. These can also be downloaded to DVD to enable them to be shown on a domestic television, this does however degrade the images slightly, compared to them being shown via a computer or digital projector.
The shows I have produced cover my sailing years in the Med’ and our very photogenic Yorkshire Dales. Copies of the presentations are available for sale, for PC, Digital projector, or TV use. The number of different presentations is limited at present, but the Dales content will increase as time goes on. Currently I have available,
“The Digital Dales” containing over 140 images and lasting 30 minutes.
“The Digital Dales 2008 Part Two” has just been completed and has 170 images and lasts around 15 minutes.
The “Wensleydale Agricultural Show 2007” contains 100 images and runs for 16 minutes.
I must warn the prospective buyer of the sailing presentations, you have to like boats to appreciate these shows, they were aimed primarily at sailing clubs and the like, to the uninitiated, one sailing boat looks very much like another. They do however, have many images the average tourist in Corsica France Spain and Portugal would never see. The titles and sizes are as follows:
Corsica to the Costa’s Part 1. 320 images and a run time of 54 minutes.
Corsica to the Costa’s Part 2. 220 images and a run time of 39 minutes.
Living aboard in Spain. 191 images and a run time of 38 minutes.
Homeward Bound Part 1. 208 images and a run time of 37 minutes.
Homeward Bound Part 2. 77 images and a run time of 18 minutes.
Florida 2000. 169 images and a run time of 30 minutes.
Normandy 2005, is a presentation made up from mine and Internet sourced images. We spent 6 weeks there in the winter of 2005, and they are more of a collection of personal images, which contains a tribute at the end to my Father who was a boy soldier in the First World War.

From the 12th April 2008, we have a new show available Called Maryport and the Northern Lakes.
